If you play an instrument, sing, or want to join our color guard, the School of Music will be hosting scholarship auditions for non-music majors from 1:00pm - 3:00pm in the Bryan Fine Arts Building. Scholarships are awarded to non-majors for playing in the marching band, concert band, choir, orchestra, or jazz band. Please prepare 2-5 minutes of music (1 or 2 pieces) that best showcase your musical abilities. This may be a solo, etude, or excerpt of a larger work. The audition will also include sight reading and a few major scales. We will not have accompanists available but will provide speakers for MP3 or YouTube accompaniments. Please bring your own instrument, if possible. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Colin Hill at cjhill@tntech.edu.
